User Research
Before starting on my design, I conducted a quantitative research survey consisting of 13 questions that I shared to different communities across Reddit, Discord and Instagram. This gave me a better understanding on a wide range of user opinions and preferences, in total I received 75 responses.
The last question was added as a treat for those who completed the survey, I enjoyed seeing all the different answers and ideas that people could come up with!

Heuristic Evaluation
After the user research, I reviewed Collectr's interface, an app with a similar purpose, using heuristic evaluation to spot any usability problems based on common guidelines I would use for Boxwork.
Overall, Collectr is a solid app that greatly cares for their user experience. There are many great features such as their extensive search filter options, and their marketplace integration. However, Boxwork is intended to be community oriented. Therefore, navigating Collectr caused some frustration as someone who likes to explore and connect with others, but the app is focused more on maximizing your profits.
